Our mesopeel chemical peels utilize a special blend of organic acids to support the maintenance of healthy, radiant skin and stimulate the growth of new skin cells...
READ MOREEvery 28 days, our skin undergoes a natural regeneration process. However, this renewal can become less consistent and slower during periods like adolescence, menopause, and natural aging. This can lead to issues such as dark patches of pigmentation, wrinkles, fine lines, and a lackluster complexion.
Mesopee chemical peels are designed to reveal brighter, more youthful-looking skin while promoting overall skin health. These peels utilize organic fruit acids (AHAs and BHAs) to adjust the skin's acidity levels effectively.
While some chemical peels can be performed at home, Mesopeel® stands out for its potency and superior results compared to over-the-counter options. By altering the skin's pH, these peels facilitate exfoliation, gently dissolving the bond between healthy and dead skin cells. This process encourages the production of collagen and elastin, promoting the growth of new, healthier skin cells.
One of our highly skilled specialists in Mesopeel® chemical peels will conduct a thorough consultation with you before beginning your treatment at our Kensington or Wimbledon clinic. During this consultation, they will discuss your goals and assess your skin's condition.
Based on this assessment, we will recommend the number of sessions needed for optimal results. Typically, a series of three to six treatments is advised, followed by maintenance sessions. Improving skin damage and addressing concerns takes time, as these issues develop gradually over time.
A patch test is essential and should be conducted at least 24 hours prior to treatment. It's important to refrain from using retinol, exfoliants, or acid-based products for 48–72 hours before your appointment. Additionally, we recommend avoiding sun exposure for a week leading up to your chemical peel session, and if possible, arriving without makeup on the day of your appointment.
Skin peels typically result in minimal irritation, though some clients may experience temporary redness or tightness immediately after the treatment. This usually subsides within 24-48 hours following the chemical peel. It's crucial to adhere to the skincare regimen recommended by your therapist during this period.
Some individuals may notice mild shedding or light flaking of the skin after their initial chemical peel session, but the extent of this varies among clients.
For the first 48 hours post-treatment, avoid using perfumed products, creams, lotions, or fake tan on your skin. The day after treatment, you can gently cleanse with a non-perfumed cleanser followed by applying SPF only.
